Cancellation of your booking is free up to 48 hours before, however, if you have booked through an operator, you should consult their cancellation policy.
We do not ask for a deposit/security deposit to rent a car with us.
The customer must return the vehicle with the same amount of gasoline/diesel with which it was delivered.
Our fleet has gasoline as well as diesel vehicles, so all vehicles are indicated with the type of fuel that the car uses. In the event of any mistake, any repairs to the car will be charged to the customer.
Payment can be in cash, credit card (we do not accept American Express), and debit card. Payment must be made at the time of signing the car rental agreement.
We deliver and pick up the car at your hotel, in the centre of Funchal, as requested at the time of the booking request, free of charge but only for bookings with 5 days or more.. Outside Funchal, the delivery and collection of the car are subject to the payment of a delivery fee and subject to availability.
Pick up: If you have a booking for Madeira Airport, we will have an employee waiting for you. On arriving at the Airport, our meeting point is at the exit, outside. The vehicle contract is signed outside the terminal.
Return: The return of the vehicle is done at the place of departure, at Madeira airport, and an employee is also waiting at the scheduled time.
There are two insurances available, Super (SCDW) and Supplemental Insurance.
SCDW Insurance
This insurance is included in the amounts shown on our website.
With insurance with exemption from deductibility, you are free from any liability caused by accident and theft of the rental car. The insurance only does not cover damage to the interior of the vehicle, the windows, mirrors, tyres, the undercarriage of the car, driving under the influence of alcohol, loss of keys and documents.
Supplemental Insurance
This is insurance for glass, mirrors and tyres, which are not included in SCDW insurance. It has a cost of €10/day (optional)
After the rental of the vehicle, if you want to cancel rental days, it is possible, however, we do not refund the amount of the remaining days previously contracted.
